ABOUT MM CENTRAL, MS

Marathon Makeover is a 40-week, marathon-training, wellness program and is helping ordinary people do the extraordinary — train for and finish a full marathon! Marathon Makeover will launch a new 2013 season on January 12th for those wanting to train for a full marathon.

Under the leadership of Mark & Robin Simpson – founders of Marathon Makeover, you will receive the care and direction of those who remember what it is like to take that first step in training for a marathon. You will experience the enthusiastic, supportive leadership that will get you up and moving toward the goal of finishing a half marathon.

2013 INFORMATION MEETING JANUARY 12TH

Marathon Makeover of Central Mississippi will have an Informational Meeting on January 12th for those interested in training in 2013. This meeting will be open to the public at C Spire Headquarters  | 1018 Highland Colony Parkway St#300 | Ridgeland, MS 39157 . Actual training will begin on the Saturday January 26th.

In celebration of our tenth training season, we will get back to the basics with a 40-week program culminating in a trip to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 13, 2013.

SPACE IS LIMITED – The Central Mississippi Training Team will be limited to 250 first-time participants and will sell out… so hurry and register!

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

2013 PROGRAM TRAINING

Marathon Makeover of Central MS will run in the Ridgeland and Reservoir area.

This year, we will culminate our training season with the Chicago Marathon! Race fees and travel to Chicago are not included in your Marathon Makeover registration.

Upon registration, your area Team Leaders will contact you and help you get started.

Mark & Robin Simpson are the Founders and Directors of Marathon Makeover, LLC. Having once been couch potatoes, they decided to ditch the couch in 2004 and started training for their first marathon... but not alone. They trained with 20 other couch potatoes and lead them to a marathon finish. Since that date, Marathon Makeover have helped over 3,000 couch potatoes train for and finish a half or full marathon.
